At E3 2014, Bandai Namco Games shared new details about the story mode to be included in ONE PIECE: Unlimited World Red which is set for release on the PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita and Nintendo 3DS consoles from June 26th, 2014. It has been confirmed that the story mode will feature a brand new “Difficult” mode which is available after the first playthrough, with all the enemies and bosses obviously becoming much stronger and in return offering rare items and rewards.
It has also been confirmed that all soon-to-be pirates will be able to fight against:
- Shanks and his powerful Haki
- The stunning Empress: Boa Hancock
- Trafalgar Law, aka “Surgeon of Death”
- Aokiji and his freezing powers
