While they haven’t really used it much since it launched last year, Ubisoft’s WeareData website has been collecting publicly available information on Paris, London and Berlin, and displays the geolocated data in virtual recreations of the cities. The developer / publisher have today announced that they will be holding an event for gamers in the EMEA region which could see some walking away with PlayStation 4 consoles, PlayStation Plus memberships and Limited DedSec Collector Editions of Watch_Dogs.

From now until May 28, players will have to stalk a target around a virtual city, by tracing its digital shadow. Players must follow clues and decipher data to determine the target’s position leading to an end game, where players must hack nearby CCTV cameras to identify their target and win. The best way to handle it is just to click HERE and follow the instructions.

For those who don’t want to try their luck, Watch_Dogs will be available for purchase on the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Windows PC, Xbox360 and Xbox One platforms from May 27th, 2014. A Wii U edition is planned for release at an unspecified later date.
