EVE Online to See French Language Support in September

EVE Online has become a worldwide phenomenon as the “thinking persons” strategy game, where bar game exploits and breaking into someone else’s account there is very little to stop players from building a profit in the deep sectors of space. Developer CCP Games have announced that after supporting English, Russian, German, Japanese and Simplified Chinese Languages, they will be updating the games client in September 2014 to support French.

We see amazing social dynamics happen in the EVE universe every time a large group of players gains easier access to it. Sometimes they team up along language lines to form large alliances and wreak havoc. Other times they prove to be tremendously valuable assets to existing groups. We’re proud to be able to give French-speaking gamers a more familiar way to play EVE, and eagerly watch to see what unique place in our universe they carve out for themselves.
