While it was originally slated for release several days from now, it seems that Activision weren’t able to keep fans from figuring out what their next Call of Duty game will be. Therefore, the publisher alongside developer Sledgehammer Games have announced Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare which is set for release on the 4th November 2014.
The main aim of the game according to the publisher is to envision battlegrounds of the future, where both technology and tactic have evolved to usher in a new era of combat for the franchise. Given this was evidently a last minute decision to announce the news early, very little other information asides from that included in the above reveal trailer is known.
