While being touched upon in the first game (Hyperdimension Neptunia), Oracles for each of the nations in Gamindustri were first introduced and built upon in its sequel (Hyperdimension Neptunia Mk.2). While they didn’t have any role as party members, they served as ample secondary characters as essentially assistants to each of the CPU Goddesses / Candidates.
While working on an enhanced PlayStation Vita remake of Mk.2, Compile Heart have decided to promote all four – Histoire (Planeptune), Chika Hakozaki (Leanbox), Kei Jinguji (LaStation) and Mina Nishizawa (Lowee) – to playable characters. To showcase how all four handle in battle, the developer have shared the below set of screenshots showcasing their appearance in battle and skill performances.
At this point in time, Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 2: Sisters Generation HAS NOT been licensed for international release, nor has Re;Birth 1. Nippon Ichi Software America are however committed to publishing the idol spin-off Hyperdimension Neptunia: Producing Perfection later this year on the PS Vita.
