While unfortunately this release only covers North America and Canada to date, Arc System Works’ latest instalment in their BlazBlue franchise “BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma” is now available internationally and localized into English thanks to the team at Aksys Games.

Exclusive to the PlayStation 3, the game retains the same 2D visual style as earlier instalments however features several improvements to the fighting system and a total of seven new characters (Four available at the start, one unlockable and two as DLC content).

At the moment this game is only available through physical retail stores, however a PlayStation Store edition will be available from April 1st, 2014. Pre-ordering a digital copy will net you a free voucher code for the DLC character kokonoe, with PlayStation Plus subscribers also set to receive a 10% discount.

With the Cauldron shattered and the cycle broken, Ragna the Bloodedge begins his final mission: Hunt down the villainous Yuuki Terumi. BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma features a new fighting system, new characters, and network mode upgrades.
