More Than 1.5 Million People Join Ubisoft’s Quest for Epic Loot

-

A fortnight has now passed since Ubisoft first launched the Open Beta phase for The Might Quest for Epic Loot, and first statistics from the tests indicate a rather strong response from the gaming market. The biggest news was that they have received more than 1.5 million registrations in over 240 countries and territories worldwide which isn’t too shabby. However the question remains how many of them they will be able to retain in the coming weeks, months and years.

In total, players have plundered more than 29 billion pieces of gold in 790 000 player-created castles during the 28 million hours they’ve put into the game. The publisher is also satisfied with the number of live streaming hours collectively put by the community on the Twitch service, with more than 3,360 hours or 140 Days worth of streaming.

Developed by Ubisoft Montreal, The Mighty Quest for Epic Loot players enter the medieval fantasy world of Opulencia where they fight, hack and slash to loot their neighbours’ castles while simultaneously building a strong defense to protect their gold in their own castle.
