With the PlayStation 4 now available in Japan, this would not only mean a stronger sales boost for Sony Computer Entertainment but also the increased availability of video games in the long-run for both Japanese and international audiences.
While it is nothing much at this moment considering the Yakuza series more or less died internationally with Yakuza: Dead Souls, those with a PlayStation 4 and a Japanese PSN account can now head to the PlayStation Store and pick themselves up a free demo of Studio Yakuza / SEGA’s latest spin-off title in the franchise, Yakuza: Ishin.
This demo is almost identical to the one released on the PlayStation 3, and comes with a selection of sub-stories / entertainment spots in addition to a look at the main story and battle system.
