While some may look back at earlier installments of the Final Fantasy XIII fondly and some may just groan, its storyline which has taken a whole generation of video game consoles to tell is finally set to conclude in less than a fortnight. Before its launch, Square Enix have decided to take a walk down memory lane and highlight key events from Final Fantasy XIII and Final Fantasy XIII-2 in the style of classic Final Fantasy RPG’s from the late-80’s / early-90’s.
Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII is set for release on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 video game consoles from the 11th February 2014 in North America and the 13th February 2014 in PAL regions including Australia and New Zealand.
