With The Sims 4 delayed until the latter half of 2014, it seems like we will be seeing at least some additional content releases for The Sims 3 over the coming months. The latest release made by Electronic Arts and Maxis just today is The Sims 3: Roaring Heights, the newest digital world available for purchase via The Sims 3 Store.
They have described this new world as being a “sparking city nestled by the sea”, where Sims will experience “a bustling lifestyle reminiscent of the golden era”. In this vibrant city full of iconic Art Deco skyscrapers, players will find new locations to take their Sims, customize their game with dozens of clothing and objects and will get to interact with the Fixer-Upper Car. The Fixer-Upper Car is a classic vehicle that Sims will be able to work on to get into pristine shape. Once complete, Sims can take it out for a spin on the town, relishing in the architecture and vibrant beachside scene of Roaring Heights.
A special The Sims 3 Roaring Heights Gold Bundle is also being offered which includes the new world and 1,900 SimPoints. Those seeking to extend their experience in this world can use the extra 1,900 SimPoints to add in The Boardwalk Venue, which has been designed specifically withThe Sims 3 Roaring Heights in mind. The Boardwalk Venue features the exhilarating Sky High Roller Coaster which players can assemble to create their own amusement park.
