New Trailer and Screenshots Released to Highlight Drakengard 3’s Japanese Release

-

While we are no more closer to finding out when Drakengard 3 will hit international store shelves, Square Enix have marked the Japanese launch of the game with a new set of screenshots and a translation of the launch trailer.

This is the first time that a Drakengard title has been developed since the Playstation 2 era of gaming, where Drakengard 2 was launched back in 2005/2006. That being said, 2010 PS3 / Xbox360 video game Nier is considered by some to be a spin-off of the original Drakengard release, more specifically the events of the fifth ending.

The below screenshots have been selected to “show a wide breadth of gameplay, including a variety of weapons, dragon combat and some of the formidable foes”.
