Knack – Game Review

Crash Bandicoot… Jak and Daxter… Ratchet and Clank…. these are examples of some of the Playstation exclusive action platformers that have drawn in a strong reception over the years. While any of these three franchises would not have gone astray as a launch title for the newly released Playstation 4, Sony Computer Entertainment’s Japan Studio decided to work on the new Knack IP.

While there are some defining moments in the overall Knack experience, the game comes and goes far too fast and may be too tedious to warrant continuing with everything else once the main storyline is over… if you even get that far.

Honestly, if it isn’t essential to pick up a Playstation 4 action platformer, you will get a much richer experience at a better price by picking up either Ratcher & Clank or Jak and Daxter collections on the Playstation 3.
