Square Enix have moments ago announced the release of their latest preview video for Lighting Returns: Final Fantasy XIII, the final installment in the trilogy that started with XIII all the way back in 2009/2010. This latest video focuses on the shops, and more specifically the customization available for players who wish to customize Lightning’s appearance to their preferences when they pick up the game next February.
A wide variety of outfits, weapons and armors are available in different towns to equip Lightning, which are reflected in the field, battle and cut-scenes. The game is to feature a total of more than 80 different outfits for Lightning to dress up in, with more potentially to be available via pre-order bonuses and DLC.
They should have just ended the series at FFXIII instead of trying to fix how bad FFXIII was and worked on getting FFXV and KH3 done and done right.
