Microsoft to Light Up the Sydney Skyline to Celebrate Launch of Xbox One in Australia

With only hours to go until the Xbox One launches, Microsoft has confirmed that they will be celebrating the launch of the console by lighting up iconic landmarks across Sydney this evening. This includes an Australian first – where the Westfield Sydney Tower will switch off the Westfield sign and the Tower will be bathed in Xbox Green. The Tower will also be home to the Southern Hemisphere’s largest countdown clock for the evening and be a canvas for light projects and game images on the side of the building. On the other side of Sydney, the famous Luna Park face will be lit green.

This will take place between 8pm and 12am tonight, perfect if you were like me during the EB Games Expo this year and had a perfect view of at least one of these iconic landmarks.
