Even with the Playstation 4 set to launch next month, video game publishers are still localizing some of the JRPG’s that have yet to hit store shelves internationally. The latest addition… Nippon Ichi Software America have announced their acquisition of Mugen Souls Z, which developed by Compile Heart serves as a sequel to the 2012 Playstation 3 exclusive title Mugen Souls.

For release in both PAL regions and North America sometime in 2014, the game features free-roaming battle maps, turn-based combat and a massive amount of potential damage to deal… many things that fans of the first game would already be acquainted with. Unfortunately the game edits / censorship will also be enforced, reportedly due to the sensitive nature of some of the content (Apparently content like this from the first game can make classification boards go crazy).

Our favorite Undisputed God of the Universe, Chou-Chou, returns with her crew for a brand-new story revolving around the Zodiac. Taking place immediately after the first game, you take control of the goddess Sylma, who meets Chou-Chou before the end of the first game’s events. Sylma is out to stop an ancient threat to her world that has recently awaken.
