From a week tomorrow, gamers from around Australia will be flocking into Sydney to attend the EB Games Expo 2013, the third event of its kind set to be held between the 4th – 6th October 2013 at the Sydney Showgrounds. While several companies have already listed their plans for the event – Nintendo have just today announced theirs.
The Nintendo booth is set to allow gamers to try their hand and new titles for the Nintendo 3DS including The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds, Sonic Lost World, Professor Layton and the Azran Legacy and for the first time in Australia – Pokémon X and Pokémon Y set to launch mid-October. The Wii U won’t be missing out, with plans to showcase titles such as The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD, Super Mario 3D World, Wii Party U and Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze.
The Nintendo booth will also serve as a hub for fans to take advantage of Streetpass and multiplayer functionality found on the Nintendo 3DS. Pokémon fans who bring their copy of Pokémon Black, Pokémon White, Pokémon Black 2, or Pokémon White 2 will have the opportunity to get their hands on a Shiny version of the Legendary Pokémon, Giratina in the last of three legendary character distribution events in celebration of the launch of Pokémon X and Pokémon Y.
