With the game soon to be available on store shelves international, XSEED Games and acclaimed developer SUDA51 have begun promoting one of the first DLC packs for Killer is Dead to be available packaged with all initial copies. This ‘Smooth Operator” DLC pack contains bonus in-game ‘Gigolo Glasses,’ alternate costumes for Vivienne and Mika for when they want to show off some skin, a bonus ‘Gigolo Mission’ with Betty, and the aptly named “Episode 51”, which centers around an entire additional episode with the enigmatic and vampiric Sebastian.
Initial launch copies of the game will also come with an 80-page hardcover artbook and a soundtrack CD containing 25 songs.
Can’t wait to see reviews for this. No More Heroes 1 + (especially) 2 were amazing… but Grasshopper is pretty inconsistent. I’ve played Flower, Sun & Rain… and it was awful. Just so obtuse. Lollipop Chainsaw was okay, as was Shadows of the Damned, but neither was really amazing. And then they have that Kinect game… “something Pitch”. They’re just weirdly inconsistent, so I can’t really commit to any of their games until I see some reviews and gameplay footage. Still, I’m crossing my fingers this is one of the good ones. It’s got a cool, intriguing premise, and it’s going back to Suda 51’s wheelhouse – crazy assassins. This SHOULD be good….
