While the main draw of the Final Fantasy X | X-2 HD Remaster collection is that gamers both new and old alike will be able to enjoy the first two Final Fantasy games of the Playstation 2 era in high definition, Square Enix have confirmed that they will be adding some new content that has been localized into English – seemingly with the original voice cast returning to fulfill their roles.
One of the new additions is an original audio episode written by the Scenario Writer for both games Kazushige Nojima. The company have today released a small two minute sample clip of the episode which features small snippets of dialogue and music sourced from the game. The audio is to be included during the credits of the game.
More interestingly, unlike the main games where they often side-step using the name “Tidus” (As you can rename him in Final Fantasy X), they openly use his name in the audio episode.
