Cloudberry Kingdom Launched Today on Multiple Platforms

-

Cloudberry Kingdom, the randomly generated platforming game developed by Pwnee Studios has today been launched by Ubisoft on the Playstation Network (PS3), Xbox Live Arcade (Xbox360), Steam (PC) and the Nintendo eShop (Wii U). This is to be followed up by a Playstation Vita launch later this year.

Replayability is set to come from the games random level generator, with hopes that every level will bring something new and different. In addition settings can be tweaked to cater to any kind of gamer – from casual to assumingly a level that would suit someone who played through Demons Souls without dying once (They called it “Mega Ultra Hardcore”). There is even more with ten hero types and three different types of play: Story mode, Free Play and Arcade mode which includes Time Crises, Hero Rush or Escalation. Up to four players can compete or play co-op with local multiplayer.

Cloudberry Kingdom tells the Cloudberry Kingdom’s fate. Sounds logical, right? As the Orb resurfaces, the classic characters return: Kobbler with his mania, Princess with her endless boredom. It’s only a matter of time before Bob, our hero, shows up to put order back to madness. Three powers struggle for victory and the fate of Cloudberry Kingdom hangs in the balance. What will become of the retired hero, Bob? Will saving Princess one last time win her love? Could true love ever stop Kobbler and the power of the Orb? No, probably not. But hey, it’s worth a shot.
