With many more games on the market now choosing to go down the multiplatform path to aid in maximizing sales, companies obtaining exclusive content in these games seems just as important as unique titles when it comes to the annual E3 press conferences. Ubisoft and Sony Computer Entertainment have recently sent out an announcement confirming the exclusives to be available on the Playstation 3 and Playstation 4 consoles in relation to Assassin’s Creed IV and Watch_Dogs.
Aveline, the first leading female Assassin who headlined Assassin’s Creed III Liberation on the Sony PlayStation Vita system, returns in Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag with three missions exclusively on PS3 and PS4 systems.
For Watch_Dogs, PS3 and PS4 players will receive four exclusive additional missions centered on a faction fighting for freedom in the digital age. As vigilante Aiden Pearce, players can help them get their revenge against a Chicago tech mogul who did them wrong. Upon completion of the extra missions, players will unlock an exclusive suit for Aiden Pearce.
They estimate that both of these extra goodies will come in at around 1 hour in length – which while short will hopefully come with great storylines and some great use of gameplay to warrant them.
