Based on the Harry Potter line of books from the imagination of author J.K. Rowling, last year we were treated to the very first Wonderbook release “Book of Spells”. Developed by SCE London Studio’s and targeted more at the younger audience, Book of Spells allowed gamers to become witches and wizards and learn a number of spells from the series using their Playstation Move controller as a wand and the Wonderbook peripheral which when scanned by the Playstation Eye allowed the world and pages to fling to life in an augmented reality experience on the screen.
Turns out this release was successful enough to warrant a brand new sequel that was announced during E3 2013. Titled Wonderbook: Book of Potions, you will once again be welcomed to the hall of Hogwarts and tasked with brewing some of the potions from the creative mind of J.K. Rowling.
Developed once again by SCE London Studio, Dave Ranyard and Russell Harding will be leading and directing the team on this new release.
