With the last batch of screenshots focusing on one of the games antagonists JetStream Sam, Konami have today confirmed that the next set of DLC for Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance which focuses on another character apart from Raiden is set to go live from the 14th-15th May 2013 for both Playstation 3 and XBox360.

As the content’s name may imply, Blade Wolf is a side-story pack focusing on LQ-84i, whom is also referred to as Blade Wolf during the main game. It set set to feature several hours of additional gameplay providing unique abilities and characteristics for LQ-84i while also expanding on his backstory and origins. Reactivated by Desperado Enforcement’s leader Sundowner and serving under Mistral, the DLC reveals LQ-84i’s story prior to his battle and eventual partnership with Raiden, and his transformation into Blade Wolf. Players can battle countless enemies using an arsenal of weapons and abilities, culminating in an all-new boss battle.

You can pick this content up for 560 Microsoft Points, while I do not have a Playstation 3 price on hand as of this post.

While it may not live up to the other current-gen Metal Gear title “Metal Gear Solid 4“, Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance makes for an interesting hack ‘n’ slash / action game that scored pretty well in my review of it HERE.
