Following the recent airing of Devil Survivor 2: The Animation, and with it the titles first voice cast, ATLUS in Japan recently confirmed that they would be giving Devil Survivor 2 the same treatment as Devil Survivor Overclocked and porting it over to the Nintendo 3DS. While the game may not be taking advantage of the 3D functionality that other games on the console have, it is set to bring a number of new goodies including additional scenarios and a voice track.
While we have no set English release date yet, in Japan the game was set to be launched on the 11th of July this year. Unfortunately, that is no longer the case with the company delaying it until an unspecified time in Fall 2013. This news may come as a disappointment to fans, but has been cited as being due to their attempts to improve the quality of the work, and for all we know there might be similar release dates for both Japanese and international markets yet.
