While most currently available DLC content for SimCity (2013) was launched almost simultaneously with the game back in early-March, there was some question as to if Maxis and Electronic Arts had any more up their sleeve, especially considering the average reviews the game received. Turns out that the companies were working on the Amusement Park content, which enables players to customize and build out their own theme parks.

This pack comes with a total of nine rides, three entry gates and five concession stands – leaving the player to master the art of placement and fun as they find the right way of drawing tourists to their cities with them. Players can create a park that elicits memories from yore with classic-themed rides, or set their Sims on an adventure with thrill-seeking rides. Content includes Ferris Wheels, roller coasters, go-kart tracks and more. EA also hinted that the free new map “Edgewater” made available in Update 4.0 is a great place to build your theme park.

This pack is digital download only and available via the Origin service for $9.99.
