Between the 25th and 29th March, PlayJam have confirmed that gamers will get their first physical look at their new android-based console at the 27th Annual Game Developers Conference. The GameStick team will, for the first time, be revealing a prototype build of its upcoming console in partnership with ARM, the world’s leading semi-conductor designer, via a designated gaming pod on their stand. The developer kit is due to ship following the show to backers of its successful Kickstarter campaign, which concluded earlier this year.
The demonstration will provide attendees with a first look at the GameStick User Interface, controller and some 30 titles due to form part of the initial line-up. The gaming pod will be co-hosted by Marmalade -a cross-platform toolkit for application development -with whom GameStick have partnered to bring content to the platform.
