Atelier Totori Plus Also Available in Australia, Seems Like The Game May Actually Be Classified MA15+ 1

Just as a quick update to my last post, after checking I can confirm that Atelier Totori Plus: The Adventurer of Arland for the Playstation Vita is also available on the Australian Playstation Network store. Priced at $54.95, this title is also available as a digital download with no word on if there will be any form of physical release like Atelier Ayesha which was launched the other week.

What is more interesting is its actual classification. In an earlier article “Atelier Totori Plus: The Adventurer of Arland Seems to Be Headed Internationally BUT Classified as R18+ in Australia….. Wait… What???“, I exclaimed my surprise that rather than maintain the original PG rating the Playstation 3, the Australian classifications board had deemed the Playstation Vita port as R18+ for References to Sexual Violence – essentially letting it join the small number of games only available to adults since the classification came in at the beginning of the year.

Turns out that that Sony Entertainment Network site listing have it down as an MA15+ title. Was the original R18+ rating in error? Was there a change in its classification? Is this a mistake on the behalf of the Playstation Store? Either way you should now be able to download the title through the Playstation Network.
