Yakuza 5 is set to have a number of new additions to it – including the promotion of Haruka Sawamura from a storyline character we have seen since the original Yakuza game to a main playable character. The game is also set to feature “Another Dramas”, which take the characters out of the usual environment and have them doing something different to the norm – from Kazuma Kiryu who takes up taxi driving to Haruka who has ambitions of becoming the winner of the “Princess League”, an idol competition.
With this comes the introduction of a dance gameplay system which sees you dancing with another person with the goal to have the public perceive you better than the other. While we have seen some ample screenshots focusing on this, the latest screenshot batch released for the game shows her performing in “Live Battles” on stage, as well as undertaking a number of other tasks. In addition, these screenshots introduce new characters Yoko who is a stylist and Shuhei Shimada who is a palm reader and occasionally gives advice to Haruka.
