XBox SmartGlass to Launch This Friday, Microsoft Plan to expand XBox to More Devices Than Before

-

Over the last year, Microsoft have been promoting new additions to the whole XBox Live experience from its new console updates, new apps including TV and Movie apps for FOXTEL, ABC iView and SBS on Demand and many other bits and pieces.

One of the bigger announcements of the year for the console was that the XBox360 experience would be expanded to more devices than ever before, bringing the experience to tablets, PC and Phones… with the biggest leap being in the form of the XBox SmartGlass for Windows 8 and Windows RT set to launch this Friday (26th October 2012). The SmartGlass app is set to be free and will essentially allow you to perform certain tasks on your XBox360 through other devices as well as obtaining bonus features through doing so.

Yusuf Mehdi, Chief Marketing Officer for Microsoft’s Interactive Entertainment Division shared his vision in a recent Guest on the Official Microsoft Blog which I encourage you to check out HERE.
