While it does not seem like Namco Bandai will be releasing any further DLC for the XBox360 version of their ‘The Idolm@ster 2’ title, DLC for the Playstation 3 release still continue with its twelfth installment to hit the Playstation Network on the 27th September 2012. As I have done every month since Namco Bandai started releasing PS3 version DLC a year ago, lets dive into what they have on offer this time around.
What does this set contain? A new schema for each of the games three primary costume types, a new song, the usual assortment of money boosts and an extend costume with accessories that will help dress your idols up in sports festival attire. The extend costume is named ‘NEO Exercise Wear’ for 1,500 yen with additional accessories (Girl’s Headband, 765 Pro Sports Towel, Coloured Baton’s and Loose Fitting Sneakers) for 300 yen apiece (Or 980 yen for a set).
In addition, there are additional Floral, Luxury and Starry Costume designs at 750 yen each (1,980 yen as a pack) and a new song Furu Furu Future (ふるふるフューチャー☆) at 1,200 yen. For completing the entire costume and accessory catalogue, you will earn yourself ‘Bunny Slippers’ as an added bonus.
