Are you developing an RPG through an RPG Maker title, and after a bundle of resources to suit a medieval theme? The team at Pioneer Valley Games have launched a sizable pack of resources through the RPG Maker official English website entitled the “High Fantasy Resource Bundle”. While suiting the more mature looking RPG than what you could develop using the default resources in RPG Maker VX / VX Ace, the set contains the following:
- 70 Battle Backgrounds
- 96 Front-View Battlers
- 90 Side-View Battlers (may require a 3rd party script to utilize)
- Over 200 Character Sprite Sheets!
- 168 Faces (21 full sets)!
- 6 Overlays for clouds and rain (may require a 3rd party script to utilize)
- 35 Tile Sheets (9 auto-tile sheets, 26 B-E sheets)
While I have not tested this set out myself, they claim that:
“All resources have been formatted for quick and easy use in RPG Maker VX and RPG Maker VX-Ace, though will work with other RPG Maker products and Game-Making software.”
They intend on continuing support for this set of resources and will be releasing expansion packs in the future that will contain more resources. A two-week introductory price has been set of $24.99.
