Fourth Major Trailer Released for Tales of Xillia 2 and Information from TGS Stage Show

-

Namco Bandai Games Japan have unveiled a wealth of information and goodies for their upcoming Playstation 3 release of Tales of Xillia 2, the sequel to last years highly successful release of Tales of Xillia (2013 release internationally). First up is a new trailer for the game complements of Japanese gaming website Famitsu.com. This trailer shows some of the games animated cutsenes including a scene where Elle’s father is assumed to be killed, a look at what seems to be the opening sequence for the game with music by Ayumi Hamasaki “Song 4 U” and a couple of separate gameplay elements including the characteristic Tales dialogue scenes.

Namco Bandai also unveiled a few other bits and pieces for the game. DLC Costumes from the original Tales of Xillia should be transferable to the new title, given that all six playable characters from the original appear in this game. Surprisingly, the pre-order Asbel and Yuri costumes for Jude and Milla can be transferred back to the original Tales of Xillia game. In addition, they have announced collaborative costumes from Puella Magi Madoka Magica for the games female cast – akin to what they did with Star Driver and The Idolm@ster 2 with the games original release. Elle’s costume CANNOT be changed at this point.
