For the last two Yakuza games…. the opening theme song has not just been about showcasing the game in a minute or two…. but as the game has employed considerable length Data Install times, it has given the chance to provide some enjoyment during these when coupled with simple but nevertheless pretty awesome animation of the games main characters. The other day, Yakuza series producer Toshihiro Nagoshi was teasing a special announcement for the game… turns out that this announcement is most probably the announcement of just who will be performing the games theme song.
Unfortunately they have not yet provided a sample, but they have confirmed that Kyosuke Himuro and his group “Gospels of Judas” will be providing the opening theme to Yakuza 5 entitled “Bloody Moon”. It is believed he will also be providing an additional six tracks for the title.
