After so many years since its original Playstation 1 and PC release, Square Enix have announced that one of their most popular and successful Final Fantasy releases, Final Fantasy VII will be re-released for the PC as a digital download. This release will retain the classic music, visuals and gameplay from the original release, but will have a couple of new additions including:
Achievements — 36 brand new achievements, only available as digital download on PC!
Cloud Saves — Continue and save your progress wherever you are. (Requires internet connection)
Character Booster — Stuck? Boost your stats for that extra advantage.
Optimized for PC — Play FINAL FANTASY VII on the latest hardware.
Fans hoping for a HD release of this series may be left a bit peeved with this announcement, however if you have not had the chance to check out this game in all its classic Final Fantasy glory then now is your chance!
