Namco Bandai Games (EU) and Namco Bandai Partners Unveil Demos and DLC Content for Their Playstation Vita Launch Titles 1

Today, Namco Bandai Europe / Partners were all about the Playstation Vita… in particular their three launch titles for the console when it is launched on the 23rd February 2012. At launch and while stocks last, those who purchase the retail version of Ridge Racer will recieve a bonus code within the box for a free Ridge Racer Gold Pass which unlocks a nice collection of bonus items – an offer extended to those who purchase a digital copy of the game no later than the 31st March 2012. This pass has a PSN value of $11.45 AUD and comes attached with the following bonuses as soon as they are released through February and March:

  • Five new cars: PROMESSA, ELENIE, DIGNISTAR, FATALITA and MELTFIRE
  • Three new courses: Old Central, Sunset Heights and Lost Ruins
  • Two new music tracks: NEW SONGS PACK 01
  • One new extended music mix: LONG MIX BGM 01

In addition, Namco Bandai Games has two more things in the works for the franchise. Later this year, a download will give fans an interactive audio and visual experience which will provide a unique taste of this release in the franchise… but more information is not really available on this. Secondly, from April 201, players looking for more content will be able to purchase the games Silver Pass which gives them access to every other piece of downloadable content for the price of $9.95 AUD.

For those who are more into Shinobido 2: Revenge of Zen from Acquire and Spike will be able to get their hands on a demo available at launch will will feature a tutorial and one mission. Those who purchase the game will get to enjoy premium downloadable content which will pit them against other worldly creatures and 8 “fearsome bosses”.

Finally they have Touch My Katamari which brings the classic Katamari gameplay to the console. A demo will be available in early March which will allow fans who are a bit hesitant about this release to try out the games tutorial and one mission. For those who own the game, they will be offering plenty of premium DLC to keep the rolling lasting for months on end – which as several weird missions including: Snowman!, Shopping, Maid, Downhill, PAC-MAN, Soccer and Downhill with Toro. Other DLC will include Dan Damacy and Music which will unlock further missions and allow fans to broaden their Katamari musical horizons and more.
