With Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor 2 released today througa nhout North America by ATLUS USA, the company has released a brand new video tutorial which provides newcomers to the series with a look at the games hybrid RPG and Tactical SRPG battle systems which has been built upon from the original two games.
The games battle system primarily takes place in a tactical RPG environment, where you place your characters on a map and navigate the area each character turn, approach the enemies and attack (Among using a number of skills addable to the characters and demons alike). Upon attacking an enemy party, you are taken to the games simple yet effective RPG mode where you can attack with one of a number of physical, elemental or status inducing spells. Of course… there is more to the system than just this…. but the trailer will elaborate the many other goodies that have been crammed into the game gameplay wise.
