Makoto Asada who is head of development at Cave recently mentioned that they should be announcing two titles by the end of the month, with no particular hints as to the series, genre or console they would be on. However, things have changed with the unveiling of a brand new teaser website, for a game presumably entitled DonDonPachi Saidaioujou. The teaser website can be seen HERE. Recently on the website they also added a site update which lead to the brand new Cave EVAC REPORT Blog, which I assume more announcements will be made on this site when they are available. As of this post no information is known about the platform or any sort of planned release date. It joins the recent announcement about DonDonPachi being planned for the iOS and Windows Phones.
DonDonPachi is a bullet hell shooter game that has been developed by Cave with releases on a number of platforms since 1997. Releases outside of Japan have been variable so no idea on if we will be seeing whatever this title is internationally.
