Back in late-December I posted up a preview video of New Love Plus on the 3Ds which had Nintendo CEO Satoru Iwata and Producer of the game Akari Uchida showcasing a number of the games features including the augmented reality functionality. This new trailer for the game is only 13 seconds long but it shows off the games ability of allowing you to take a picture of any environment you want and then take your girl on a custom date which she interacts with the environment.
But how does the game allow the girl to interact with the environment to such a degree? Well the game comes with a tool called the “Anywhere Date Editor”, a tool that can be used create custom dates and to “layer” and identify particular items that she can sit on, hide behind or many other things. Of course how well this would work when it comes to the normal end user will be seen once the game is released but it is a feature I think is appropriate for a game such as this which would otherwise give only a limited number of environments to go to.
The game will also feature the ability to share your dates online and you will be eventually able to download professionally designed dates by Konami themselves.
