Unfortunately Carpe Fulgur recently announced that their upcoming release of Fortune Summoners: Secret of the Elemental Stone has to endure one final delay, pushing the official release date for the 30th January 2012. A few minor reasons have been made for this slight delay including the the claim they wanted a release that would be “absolutely flawless”, and not require any patches that would delay the gamer getting the full experience – thus fixing up a couple of crash bugs found in the last build. Other mentioned reasons including schedule timing with distributors but according to their blog post HERE, it was more about quality than anything else.
However THERE IS GOOD NEWS!
Carpe Fulgur were also able to announce the actual pricing plans for the game. Fortune Summoners will have a MSRP of $20 USD (15 Euros, 13 GBP) but if you jump right into the action during the first week of release you can get 25% off that total cost. Carpe Fulgur has been met with considerable success over their previous two releases, with Recettear (Review Here) having life-to-date* sales of around 170,000 units and Chantelise LTD* sales of 50,000 units. Will this be even more successful than their release of “Capitalism Ho!” Recettear? Only time shall tell.
