KONAMI recently unveiled their fourth trailer for Beyond the Labyrinth, the next game by Tri-Ace headed for the Nintendo 3DS early next year. Unfortunately actual gameplay hasn’t been plentiful in any of the four previous trailers which have been more heavily focused on the series female protagonist, but you do get some idea about the game if you watch them all together – so I have included the other three below.

While Tri-ace have been shifting around companies the last few years, delivering their innovative game techniques in many different genres of RPG… their titles have usually resulted in some rather epic trailers which were able to get you into the series and at least to me encouraged me to look into them further… such as the one to Resonance of Fate I have posted below. While I am aware that Beyond the Labyrinth seems to have a less serious battle system – more could be done to promote the series gameplay systems and design. Despite this, I do look forward to seeing what Konami and Tri-ace have managed to do with this new title.
The aforementioned trailer for Resonance of Fate (End of Eternity) – an example of what Tri-ace game trailers SHOULD be like… in my opinion. Showcasing everything in the most direct manner and not beating around the bush.
