In Japan, Sony Computer Entertainment has what you could call two mascots in the form of two cats – Toro and Kuro. Since the days of the Playstation 2 they have appeared in a number of titles and features, including Toro! Lets Party! – a minigame compilation I reviewed in February this year and Mainichi Issho on the Playstation 3 and Playstation Portable which acts as a news station where every week they upload a number of interviews, game previews and so forth.
Until now, the inclusion of Toro and Kuro has been but teased to us through the form of subtle hints…. but the appearance of a new website HERE, it turns out they will be included…. but in a very different way. Minna to Issho (Minna to Issyo?) is a downloadable Playstation Vita application that helps you find friends through the creation of a profile, exchanging of “business cards” and the creation of your own personal garden, the game will help you find potential friends who match your preference in the attempt to make more friends!
Unfortunately none of the previous Toro/Kuro games have ever made it outside of Japan… but with the latest popularity in the console, will it be possible to see this released in English upon the Vita’s English release in February?
