I have previously stated my concerns in regards to the upcoming Nintendo 3DS game Dynasty Warriors VS. due to another game in the series – Samurai Warriors shocking version on the console previously this year. However, they have provided screenshots and information which make it seem like some improvements have been made upon this title.
This is not specifically your normal Dynasty Warriors game, but doubles as a multiplayer for up to four players. For those who are not familiar with this game series (I am going by the Empires line of games), you take control of warriors from the Romance of the Three Kingdoms and fight them against one another and their countless thousands of warriors to take control of the bases, region and then unite China – with events such as the Yellow Turban Rebellion and Dong Zhuo’s rein being common plotlines.
This time around, you have to choose a party of three Musou warriors and you face off against the other players and take over their bases. The gameplay will remain almost the same, however with slight mofications such as status modifying magic being included and if the first game is anything to go by, less soldiers on the screen at one time (Other versions can have hundreds of warriors on screen at any one time).
