Those who are perhaps slightly worried that Tales of Xillia will try and take a new path with their battle systems, a practice that has been more common the last few years with varied effects need not worry. The above trailer gives you a three minute glimpse at the battle system and all the improvements to it. Having played a number of Tales of games, I would consider the battle system in need of perhaps something a bit more then the odd change here or there, but hell, if it ain’t broke – don’t fix it… and it most certainly works well.
