I have recieved a few e-mails about this over the last few weeks, however I can now happily announce the release dates of both Disgaea 4 and Atelier Totori in Australia. Keeping with the tradition they set with Ar Tonelico Qoga and Neptunia, both of these games will be released reasonably quickly after their North American releases, through Namco Bandai Partners Australia.
Whilst in North America, Disgaea 4 is being released before Atelier Totori, it will be reversed in Australia with Atelier Totori being released around a month before Disgaea 4. Atelier Totori has an in-store release date of the 29th of September 2011, just two days after the North American release – and will have a RRP of $69.95. Disgaea 4 on the other hand will be released a bit later on the 27th of October 2011 with a RRP of $69.95 as well. This will keep the game more or less in-line with the North American prices, and if you take into account shipping, is the cheaper option.
Currently I am not certain if there will be anything like artbooks or the like distributed with the Australian release, however I would suggest contacting your individual stores to find out once the game is in their systems. I have also been given the recommendation to check each EB Games, JB Hi-fi and GAME to confirm that they are stocking it, as it might be that not all stores are stocking it due to various reasons. I am aware with their previous releases of Neptunia and Ar Tonelico Qoga, EB Games generally were the store to get the games – as they came with artbook and soundtrack, but things may have changed this time around.
