Interesting Games – Part 2

-

This is another set of games which I am looking forward to and/or planning on blogging.

Edit: I was going to add some trailer videos but seems like Youtube keeps changing to Youtube Australia, which my Youtube plugin doesn’t seem to like :/

FINAL FANTASY CRYSTAL CHRONICLES: MY LIFE AS KING
Release Date: Out Now
Console: Nintendo Wii

I bought this game using some Wii points I got for my birthday. This game was one of the first and most expensive games in the WiiWare series. Is it worth the money? Was it a wise move to release a game where no fighting was involved? Find out when I review it! I also am thinking of reviewing the original Gamecube version.

HIGURASHI NO NAKU KORO NI KIZUNA: DAI-ICHI KAN TATARI
Release Date: Now
Console: Nintendo DS

Whilst this is out now, I do not own it however I do hope I will get my hands on it sooner or later for a review. As you know, I really enjoyed watching Higurashi no Naku Koro ni and its sequel so I do hope the game lives up to the expectation of myself.

KUMATANCHI
Release Date: Out Now
Console: Nintendo DS

Another game which I do not own, yet would like to try out as it both has the kawaii factor and from the looks of it, a rather stable gameplay element, similar to games such as The Sims and Animal Crossing.

FINAL FANTASY XIII
Release Date: TBA 2009
Consoles: Playstation 3 & XBox-360 (I am getting the PS3 version)

Of course, this would be on the top of the list for a great percentage of readers. Featuring a battle system similar to the one in the DVD release Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children alongside the graphical and musical masterpieces of the next generation consoles, it is easy to say that this game shall bring a new definition to gaming.

FINAL FANTASY VERSUS XIII
Release Date: TBA 2009-2010
Console: Playstation 3

Of course, XIII is a really good game from the look of it, however, more impressive looking so far is Versus XIII which while linked to the other game, features a completely different storyline, althrough details are much more limited. Also looking forward for this game.

DISGAEA: HOUR OF DARKNESS & DISGAEA 2: CURSED MEMORIES

Release Date: Out Now
Console: Playstation 2

These two games will be reviewed seperately, however unlike Disgaea 3, I have not finished either of them, usually stuck and too lazy right near the end of them. However, they each have excellent qualities which has kept me playing the series throughout.

These are more sneak peeks at some of the game reviews I have coming up for the blog. Keep an eye out for them!
