A Compilation of Granado Espada Updates

-

I felt it was about time to place some updates regarding Granado Espada on the blog, most of them coming from Mistress Hrin’s Blog.

Effective on Wednesday, 15 Oct 2008, Wed, 0800hrs (GMT+8) the current five Granado Espada worlds, Cervantes, Caravaggio, Vivaldi, Carracci and Pachelbel will migrate into two worlds, Bach and Rembrandt.

This move will increase player population on both the Player Kill (PK) and Non-Player Kill (non-PK) servers, providing a more vibrant world for new and intermediate players and new challenges for established players and factions.

The three PK servers: Cervantes, Caravaggio and Vivaldi will migrate into the new world named Bach.

The two non-PK servers: Carracci and Pachelbel will migrate into the new world named Rembrandt.

That is right, in order to both unify gamers, and allow a greater service to the gamers, IAH Games have decided to make 5 servers into two. Bach for PK and Rambrandt for Non-Pk (Making me on Rambrandt) If you haven’t played for a while or havent seen this message (Highly unlikely) then there are some recommendations on what you should do prior.

  • Claim all items from Leonardo Expreso
  • Remove all items in the Market Manager / Cabinet
  • Refrain from activating time-based premium items

Of course, there are also some important things that must be noted which can be found at the following links:

And if this is the case, then V2.9 will likely to be delayed as well till Thursday, 23 October 2008. On the bright side, we have just installed V2.9 on our test server this morning… but arghhh! There are some localization integration issues so oh well… yet more QA testing to be done, more bugs to fix and more tasks to pick up…

Due to this, the release date of Version 2.9 is being set to the 23rd October 2008 but may change earlier or later depending on what happens.

Apart from that, I hope everyone who is playing GE has fun, and for those who haven’t… it is not too late to join, just visit http://ge.iahgames.com to start the journey.
