Les Misérables Confirmed to Hold November 2015 Run at Queensland Performing Arts Centre

-

It has today been announced that Cameron Mackintosh’s new production of Les Misérables will be headed to the Queensland Performing Arts Centre starting November 2015. Taking over the Lyric Theatre from Strictly Ballroom the Musical which concludes on October 4th, Les Misérables is set to begin its run on November 10th 2015 for a strictly limited season. Given that Cats is set to begin on January 29 2016 at the Lyric Theatre, presumably the show will run until at least early-January 2016.

Ticket prices range from $55 to $149.95, with nightly sessions (7:30PM) being held Tuesday-Saturday and matinee sessions on Wednesday (1PM), Saturday (2PM) and Sunday (3PM). Tickets for this session are expected to go on sale starting Thursday May 21 at 9AM.

Set against the backdrop of 19th-century France, Les Mis is an unforgettable story of heartbreak, passion, and the resilience of the human spirit that has become one of the most popular musicals in history. Featuring the timeless score and beloved songs such as I Dreamed a Dream, On My Own, Bring Him Home, and One Day More, Les Mis has been seen by over 70 million people, won over 100 awards and is still breaking box office records around the world.

Les Misérables is currently mid-way through its season at the Capitol Theatre in Sydney, with shows running until at least August 2015.
