The Arts Centre Gold Coast Announce Their Basement Line-Up for April 2015

On Friday nights, The Arts Centre Gold Coast hold regular ‘Comedy in the Basement’ event where they invite a new comedian each week to entertain the crowds that attend them. The venue has recently confirmed their line-up for both April 10th and April 17, in addition to a Jazz session on April 18. Single tickets cost for one of the Friday night sessions will set you back $25.00, with group tickets available at a slightly reduced rate of $22.00. Those who want a ‘Dinner and Show’ pass will have to pay considerably more at $79.00. Each sitting is strictly 18+ only, with tickets purchasable through their box office or online. The Saturday night session is seemingly all-ages friendly, with Adult tickets available for $29.00, with concession tickets slightly cheaper at $22.00.

Comedy in The Basement – Ashley Fils
April 10th 2015

Born in Haiti and raised in Miami Florida, Ashley has been performing stand up comedy since he was 18. From touring Scandinavia to the United States, Ash learned how to become universal in his stand-up while working as National Headliner Pablo Francisco’s support act for 11 years.

Comedy in The Basement – Darren Sanders

One of Australia’s best (comics that is!) appearing on “Rove” as well as “The Comedy Channel” and just about every other TV and Radio station in Oz and currently on TVS with his own show – The Darren Sanders Show.

We’ll Meet Again Feat Miss Mandy and Special Guest Kirri Adams
April 18th 2015

Miss Mandy and the boys take you on a musical journey through the years of both World War 1 and 2. The nostalgic songs of Vera Lyn including White Cliffs of Dover, We’ll Meet Again and As Time Goes By and the touching love songs that were popular back in the 1920’s to 40’s. Special guest Kirri Adams will join Miss Mandy and sing along to the Marching songs and songs from the Beer Parlours including It’s A Long Way ,Pack Up Your Troubles In Your Old Kit Bag, Wish Me Luck As You Wave Me Goodbye and many more.
