The Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC) have announced that the children’s production, FLUFF: A Story of Lost Toys, will once again be making its way to the Cremorne Theatre in April. To be held during a week-long period in the upcoming school holidays (April 9th – April 15th), this will give the young and young-at-heart another opportunity to enjoy the on-stage comedy and creativity presented by Christine Johnston (Who also serves as writer/designer), Lisa O’Neill (Choreographer) and Peter Nelson (Musician/Engineer/Sidekick).
Telling the story of the Gingham family who are very concerned for all of the lost and discarded toys in the world, the trio travel all around to retrieve them and bring them to their colourful home of odd shaped boxes where they welcome them to the family. Described by QPAC as “magical, playful and a little offbeat with a strong comedic edge”, they hope it is something which children and adults alike will enjoy.
FLUFF: A Story of Lost Toys runs for approximately 50 minutes (No Interval), with daily sessions running at 10AM and 12:30PM. Tickets come at a flat rate of $25.00, with each ticket dropping to $20 if you purchase four or more. For more information and to buy tickets, visit the QPAC website.
