Posted on October 5, 2011 | 3 CommentsSiren Visual, one of the major distributors of anime within Australia recently announced their intention to not have a period of time without a noitaminA series under their belt and simulcast UN-GO which is due for release in Japan this anime season. As this series might be unknown to many viewers, they have just released an English subtitled trailer for which you can enjoy above. The following is a blurb about the series taken from their official release: UN-GO (pronounced ‘ango’) is a detective story... -
Persona 4: The Animation – And so we Return to the Start of the Journey…. Trailer
Posted on September 16, 2011 | No CommentsWith Persona 4: The Animation due out in less then a month for those living in Japan, they have now reached their 14th trailer for the anime and gone right back to the start of the protagonists journeys, introducing some voiced moments from the start of the story and showing off more footage of all the characters, this time including Naoto. Judging from this footage and previously released ones, some of the social link characters (Kou, Daisuke and Ai) will be making an appearance but other characters... -
The 13th Trailer for Persona 4: The Animation Shows off Naoto
Posted on September 15, 2011 | No CommentsAfter 13 trailers for the series ranging from a couple of seconds long to a few minutes long, we have finally been introduced to Naoto, a character who appears occasionally at the beginning of the story and plays a role as a team member in the last few months of the story. The trailer does not offer much in terms of what their channel is unlike the other three, but I suppose we will be seeing soon enough when the full Naoto trailer is released... -
K-ON! Movie Trailer Streamed
Posted on September 5, 2011 | No CommentsWith us Aussies waiting for the second volume of K-ON!! due out next month and those in North America eagerly waiting for the third volume this month, our morale might take a slight dip or increase (Depending on if you feel envious or happy about this) that those in Japan will get to see the next installment of the series on December 3rd in 130 theaters around Japan. Including at least three new songs and the five light music club girls who have proved highly... -
Reminder: Angel Beats due out in Australia This Month From Siren Visual
Posted on September 4, 2011 | No CommentsWhilst my most anticipated title from Madman Entertainment this month is Spice and Wolf, my most anticipated title from Siren Visual is without a doubt Angel Beats, which was produced with collaboration from KEY, most probably my favorite visual novel group. The above is a trailer for the series shared by Siren Visual and showcases a number of the going ons in this educational (hell) afterlife. As with the North American release distributed by Sentai Filmworks, this will be more or less the same release with both... -
Spice and Wolf Collections to be Released Next Month in Australia (A Mixed Bag of Information)
Posted on August 29, 2011 | No CommentsTrailer for Spice and Wolf II This series might not be that big an unknown to readers of this website or fans of anime. Spice and Wolf, also what a friend of mine casually refers to as “Economics: The Anime” follows Lawrence, a merchant who travels the towns selling and trading his wares in order to make a healthy living and one day own his own shop. Coming across the harvest goddess Holo, a girl who is teenage in appearance and boasts a set of... -
Persona 4: The Animation – New Trailer Shows off Battles
Posted on August 28, 2011 | No CommentsWe are now up to something like the 12th trailer for this series, and this time they have decided to focus on the details they haven’t touched upon as much – the Personas. Whilst the trailer is only 32 seconds long, it does show off how they intend to pull off the battles quite well – now we just need to wondering if there will be some upbeat J-POP tracks to go with those battles (For those who haven’t played Persona 4, the normal battle... -
.hack//TheMovie – Amendment! But Comes with Preview Trailers!
Posted on August 25, 2011 | No CommentsOver the last two days I have reported that there will be a new .hack// Movie. Yesterday there was supposedly a revelation that the physical release would also be a hybrid disc that would also come with a PS3 game. Unfortunately, it seems like they were actually intending to talk about Tekken Blood Vengeance, and the original Game Watch article was retracted. Currently despite the Twitter post made by PIROSHI_CC2, an official CyberConnect2 account, it seems unlikely that there will be a game included with the... -
Aniplex USA Releases Puella Magi Madoka Magica Trailer
Posted on August 15, 2011 | No CommentsThis will be a first for me. I actually cannot say anything more on this trailer as it is currently region locked to North America – therefore I get an error message upon watching it. For all my readers from the US, please enjoy. For those who cannot view it – here is the storyline for the series as taken from the official website for the series: She has a loving family and best friends, laughs and cries from time to time… Madoka Kaname, an... -
Working’!! – C80 PV Trailer Released
Posted on August 15, 2011 | No CommentsWhat do you get when you have a lead character who spend his childhood crossdressing, an older girl who is half his height and a girl who detests men…. and they all work in a family restaurant? You get Working!!, or as it was called in the Nippon Ichi Software America release “Wagnaria!!” (Due to some titling issue – not modifying the storyline or anything). When I did a review of the first 13 episodes released to the English market – I found it as a... -

Posted on August 11, 2011 | No CommentsWith the last installment of the Eden of the East series due out in America this month, Australia in October and I believe in the UK this November, Funimation Entertainment – the North American distributor for the series have released two preview clips which have been English dubbed. For those who have not watched the series before, I suggest you do not watch these clips due to spoilers and instead go out and buy them now… but for those who are eagerly awaiting the release...
