Both of these releases will be available through the Siren Visual online store and retailers of anime beginning on the 19th January 2012. Ninja...

  • I am aware that this may be considered adding salt to the wounds of some who would love to see this Blu-ray set released in Australia. However Sentai Filmworks have just informed me that starting from today, you will be able to pick up a Blu-ray copy of Clannad (Season One) from either a supplier of anime or an online retailer (Eg. Rightstuf) at an SRP of $89.98. Running at 600 minutes in length and featuring both the Sentai Filmworks English dub and the original Japanese dub, you will be able to follow Tomoya Okazaki as he goes from a...

  • Clannad to See Box Sets from Siren Visual

Over the course of a year, Siren Visual released the Clannad series alongside its follow on series Clannad: After Story. While it is not the blu-ray collection that I know at least one fan on the companies wall is feverishly requesting, the following was recently posted on their Facebook wall: Siren Visual will be doing two box set releases for the series, the first being released in December this year and the second due for release sometime (hopefully) early next year. For those curious about a complete collection of Durarara!!, which is another highly requested series from the company – they have...

  • I am a rather big fan of the Clannad series, with it having scored consistently high results in my reviews for Clannad Parts 1/2 and Clannad: After Story Part 1, however as the last volume is to be released this month, I think it would be nice to release the movie (Clannad: The Motion Picture), which has also been dubbed by Sentai Filmworks in North America with the same vocal cast as the anime series. Whilst it is evidently shorter, it still seems to have Dango in it, and it would be nice to see a condensed series that focuses...

  • New Anime/Manga Titles for July 2011 in Australia

I haven’t had much in terms of June releases so far, with most of the titles being a tad delayed in arriving, however there is no reasoning to withhold this article. You all should know the drill by now, the * means that I am interested in reviewing the series, and I will as always include an image and description of every title. If you feel up to it, please comment on what purchases you are interested in getting and I will try and prioritize reviews to the responses I get. Siren Visual Clannad: After Story – Part 2 * An alternate...

  • For those who are expecting a series completely based around the life of Nagisa and Tomoya, which was the full extent of After Story in the Visual Novel, then you will be disappointed, but for a good reason! This season focuses on both the conclusion of the school arc in the first couple of episodes with the more minor characters getting their moment to shine, then proceeds with the actual After Story plotline. If you have read my previous Clannad reviews then you should know my normal pre-review comments, and if you haven't watched season one of Clannad yet, then you should watch it before reading this review. Anyway, after the jump is my review of Clannad: After Story.
